The Cookery Nook is a Mercy Community Services social enterprise connecting people and communities through food.

Support Us

The Cookery Nook is a social enterprise of Mercy Community Services which supports people with disability to develop meaningful careers through food preparation and skills. Our unique integrated work environment empowers disadvantaged people to build transferable and portable employment and life skills.

To do this, we need donations and corporate sponsorship to provide traineeship pathways, individualised support to volunteers and linkages to the community for the people we support through our enterprise.

Donations could go towards funding professional chefs to mentor our volunteers as well as buying much-needed additional equipment such as pans, pots, knife sets, as well as funding the cost of certification (Cert I, II, III in Hospitality).

Your donation could buy these assets:

Investment

One hour of skill building and support by a professional chef

$50

Uniform set

$150

Kitchen knives

$200

Set of pans and pots

$300

Individual certification in Hospitality for one of our volunteers through an RTO partner (Cert I, II, III)

Donations over $2.00 are tax deductible. You can process your donation quickly and easily using a credit card or Paypal right now while you're online!
